* Respect for personal and professional boundaries
(yours and mine) are required. I will be on time, prepared
and focused on your needs. I expect you to have the
same courtesy for my effort and my time.
* There is client parking in the driveway in front
of the "Client Parking" sign. If there is
already a car there, please do not block them in, as
we may be running late or you may be early. An additional
"client in session notice" will be the sign
by the door asking you to have a seat if I am still
in session. Realize some clients may have been dropped
off by a caregiver.
* Should you need to leave a check or pick up something,
there is a box on the table by the front door for that
purpose.
* I no longer have the luxury of extra space for clients
to arrive early, or to linger after a session, and still
have time to be able to prepare the room. Please adhere
to your scheduled time slot as much as possible. Should
you need to come early or stay later than scheduled,
please clear it with me first.
* My phone ringer is turned off during the day and
the volume on the speaker is turned down at night so
as not to disturb clients or my personal time. Please
feel free to leave a message for me when it is convenient
for you. I do check for the blinking light between sessions
and will return your call the same business day a message
is received. Should a call be made after hours, it may
be the following day before you receive a reply. You

* If you are ill or recovering from an illness I ask
that you be free from symptoms for 24 hours before your
session. Massage can spread a fever or symptoms through
your system if you have not fully recovered. Illness
is anything that can be transferred, including Poison
Ivy/ Oak.
* Please try to give at least 24 hour notice if you
need to cancel our session. A bill may be sent for the
time scheduled if you do not show or call within this
time frame. ( I realize there are always emergency exceptions-see
above) Three "no shows" will result in a termination
of our business relationship.
* I maintain a cancellation list of people to call
should an opening occur. If you would like to be on
this list, let me
know. Please Do Not call a friend to fill your spot
if you cancel - that is the purpose of this list! You
may call 512-869-0509 and let me know your friend would
like the appointment, and if prior listed names are
not interested I will be happy to call your friend.
* The discount for the 3-1 hour, 7-1 hour or 3-90 minute
sessions is valid ONLY if the sessions
are prepaid. Prepaid is prior to or on the first session.
* If you forget your checkbook, payment is still due
the day of the session or there will be a $15.00 processing
fee added to the total. I have a box on the porch where
you can drop off the check should I be in session.
* Returned checks are charged a fee and result in your
becoming a "cash only" client.
* Communication is important. Please let me know about
your comfort level during the session. This includes
techniques and pressure, as well as lighting, sound
and room temperature or any boundary issues you may
have (ticklish, no scalp work, etc.) Discussions are
kept confidential and information is not shared with
others (insurance, physician) without your signed consent.
* Please keep me
informed of any address or phone changes so that
my files are accurate. I do not sell or share this information
with anyone.
* If you do not wish to receive mailings (discounts,
upcoming events, etc.) and did not indicate so on your
original intake form, please let
me know.
* I provide referrals to other health care practitioners
in the area, particularly if I do not feel I can adequately
meet your needs.
* You will receive one free session for every four
referrals that book a session with my practice.
* Gift certificates are valid for six months from the
date of purchase.
* Discounts from coupons, specials or birthday cards
must be presented in order to be applied to session
fee. No exceptions.
